Godello offers "the softly aromatic apricot character of Albario but has a silkier texture" (Oz Clarke). For fans of complex aromatic whites it's a must try, and this fine example from the high, cool vineyards of Galicia is a great place to start.

One of Spain's most fashionable grape varieties, Godello is native to the high, cool vineyards of Galicia on the tip of northwest Spain.
