They come from Romania, a country with centuries of winemaking heritage as well as a wealth of prime vineyards and an ideal climate. But until recently Romania lacked the investment to make best use of these assets. Paris Street Pinot Grigio is from Sebes in Transylvania, a region where vivid imagery and gothic tales capture the imagination. The grapes for this aromatic white were hand-picked from high altitude vines and fashioned into an affordable wine of great character courtesy of Dan Muntean and winemaker Lorena Deaconu. If you enjoy northern Italy's Pinot Grigio you'll love Paris Street's somewhat riper expression. Serve with seafood or grilled fish.
